<p><a href="http://www.moceanviewjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/wpid-IMG_20111005_1726163.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto;" src="http://www.moceanviewjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/wpid-IMG_20111005_1726162.jpg" alt="image" /></a></p>
<p>Despite the KRON-4 news van outside, the bustle of commerce inside the store went on unabated.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.moceanviewjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/wpid-IMG_20111005_1727263.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto;" src="http://www.moceanviewjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/wpid-IMG_20111005_1727262.jpg" alt="image" /></a></p>
<p>I asked an Apple Genius behind the Genius Bar how she felt to be working in the store on this day.</p>
<p>"You mean in light of today's news?" she said.</p>
<p>I nodded.</p>
<p>Her mouth twisted to the side and her eyes focused farther away.</p>
<p>"Disappointed" she said, after a beat.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.moceanviewjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/wpid-IMG_20111005_1735321.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto;" src="http://www.moceanviewjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/wpid-IMG_20111005_173532.jpg" alt="image" /></a></p>
<p>The store's din kept on. Its operation and the wares inside of it are a testament to one man's uncompromising aim.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.moceanviewjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/wpid-IMG_20111005_1735581.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto;" src="http://www.moceanviewjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/wpid-IMG_20111005_173558.jpg" alt="image" /></a></p>
<p>"Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become." - Steve Jobs, 1955-2011.</p>

<p><strong>* Along The M: Market and Drumm.</strong></p>
<p>About ten people aligned with occupySF.com protested near <strong>Embarcadero Station</strong>'s entrance on this sweltering Indian Summer evening. The bullhorn's tinny caterwaul rebounded off of the concrete and stone.</p>
<p>There were rumors of public transit disruption along Market's underground due to protests. Nothing has been verified.</p>
<p>Downtown's streets are pocked with orange as fans make their way home from the last <strong>Giants</strong> game of the 2011 season. (They lost to <strong>Colorado</strong>.)</p>
<p>The end of one cycle brings on the beginning of the next.</p>
